Caroline O’Connor

Caroline O’Connor is the Chief Operating Officer for the Miami Marlins, the Major League Baseball team based in Miami, Florida. She recently completed her second season with the Marlins, joining the organization in October of 2017 as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff before ascending to Chief Operating Officer during the 2019 season. In her role, Ms. O’Connor oversees the Corporate Center of the Marlins front office, leading all Finance, Legal, Operations, Information Technology, Communications, Human Resources, and Special Project functions. Caroline reports directly to the CEO of the Miami Marlins and works closely with the Board of Directors.

Prior to joining the Miami Marlins, Caroline spent six years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Wealth and Investment Management Technology division.  Caroline also spent six years at UBS Investment Bank, and six years at International Business Machines.

Caroline has an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from Rutgers University and a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Caroline resides in Miami, Florida with her husband and two sons.
