The Parks Foundation partners with Miami-Dade County Parks’ Bike305 program and other county and community partners to help promote cycling for recreation and as an alternative method of transportation. The Parks Foundation supports Bike 305’s delivery of bike safety programming to municipalities and residents throughout Miami-Dade County. Through Bike 305, with the support of the Parks Foundation, and in partnership with the County’s Dept. of Transportation and Public Works, Transportation Planning Organization, and the Florida Department of Transportation, as well as municipalities, state and federal agencies, Miami-Dade Parks implements the community’s vision for a connected system of parks, public spaces, natural and cultural areas, and works towards the goal of 500 miles of greenways and trails across the county – to ensure a resilient and sustainable future for our community.
